Cero Generation’s 70MW Pontinia agrivoltaic project, located in Lazio, Italy, is operational. Spanning 135 hectares, with 65% devoted to agriculture, it pioneers subsidy-free PV projects in Italy. Backed by 10-year virtual PPAs with Philips and HEINEKEN, the solar venture will power 47,000 homes, promoting sustainable food production. Schneider Electric advised on renewable energy procurement, supporting project selection and negotiations.
