Australia based Ingeteam has secured a contract to supply power electronics for a PV plant in Campaspe Shire, Victoria, Australia. The company will provide 15 turnkey transformer stations and a Power Plant Controller (PPC) system. The plant, with a 93 MW capacity, will generate energy for over 43,000 Australian homes annually. Built by Beon Energy Solutions and owned by ENEL Green Power Australia (EGPA), the project follows a sustainable construction model to enhance renewable energy’s positive impacts and mitigate environmental effects. Construction began in August 2023, with an investment exceeding AUD 140 million, and is expected to last 18 months. The plant’s operational lifespan is projected at around 35 years. Ingeteam has been expanding its Australian footprint since establishing its subsidiary in November 2013, celebrating its 10th anniversary recently.
