Indian solar module maker Waaree Energies has started operations of a new 950 MW solar module manufacturing line at its factory in Degam, Navsari district, Gujarat. The facility has added production capacity to meet the growing demand for solar modules across India. The plant began operations at 10:00 a.m. and was designed to handle high-volume output. Its location in Navsari provided logistical and industrial advantages through existing infrastructure and supply networks. The new line expanded Waaree Energies’ manufacturing portfolio within India’s solar sector.The new Gujarat line followed an earlier phase when Waaree Energies was under a US solar tariff investigation.
