Vikran Engineering Limited, a diversified EPC and renewable energy firm based in India, has accepted Letters of Award from M.P. Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for grid-connected PV power plants. These projects total 45.75 MW AC in capacity and are located in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh state. The solar installations operate under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme, incorporating feeder solarization through the provisions of the PM KUSUM-C scheme. The generated electricity will be sold to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited over a 25-year PPA tenure. Under the awards, the tariffs for the renewable power range from INR 2.75 (~ $0.030) per kWh to INR 2.80 (~ $0.031) per kWh. The company will serve as Renewable Power Generator for implementation of these domestic government-awarded contracts. Vikran Engineering confirmed that no related party transactions apply to these Letters of Award arrangements. Recently, NTPC has awarded Vikran Engineering an INR 459.20 crore solar EPC contract.
