Vikran Engineering Limited, an India-based infrastructure and renewable energy firm, has received a Notification of Award from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. The contract is valued at INR 459.20 crores excluding GST for an EPC assignment of a 400 MW AC grid-connected PV project at Chitrakoot-1 in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work includes inland transportation, insurance, installation, testing, commissioning, and guarantee tests for the solar project. The contract was issued by a domestic government entity and is scheduled for completion within 12 months. According to the company’s disclosure dated December 25, 2025, there were no promoter or related party interests involved in the contract. Recently, Onix Renewables has awarded Vikran Engineering a INR 2,035.26 crore EPC contract for 600 MW AC solar projects in Maharashtra.
