TP Solar Limited, an India-based solar manufacturing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has reported its manufacturing performance for the first nine months of FY26. During the April - December period, the company has manufactured 2.8 GW of DCR solar cells and 2.9 GW of solar modules across its operations in India. Of the total module output, 2.4 GW comprised DCR modules, while the remaining 0.5 GW consisted of ALMM-certified modules. In third quarter of FY26, PV cell production increased to 940 MW, compared with 196 MW in the corresponding quarter of FY25. Module production during the same quarter reached 990 MW, up from 927 MW YoY. Recently, Tata Power Renewable Energy has planned a 10 GW ingot and wafer plant in Andhra Pradesh, backed by a $804 million investment.
