Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), an India-based renewable energy developer and EPC contractor, has stated that it has commissioned more than 10 GW of renewable EPC projects across the country. This cumulative portfolio includes 9.7 GW of PV portfolio and 290 MW of wind assets, delivered through a mix of in-house developments and third-party EPC contracts. During the first nine months of FY26, TPREL has commissioned 1.88 GW of renewable energy capacity, compared with 1.4 GW added in the same period of FY25. In third quarter of FY26 alone, the commissioned capacity rose to 941 MW, up from 393 MW in Q3 of FY25. Of the total capacity added during the nine-month period, 1,329 MW comprised solar projects executed for third-party clients, while 546 MW related to in-house renewable projects, covering both solar and wind assets. Following these additions, the company’s utility-scale operational capacity stands at 6 GW nationwide. Recently, Tata Power Solaroof under TPREL reached 1 GW rooftop capacity in FY26 (April–December).
