Sunsure Energy, an India-based renewable energy solutions provider, has begun supplying solar power to Max Healthcare Institute Limited for its Super Speciality Hospital in Noida, India, under a long-term PPA. Electricity is being supplied from Sunsure Energy’s 15 MW solar plant located in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The arrangement includes a 4 MW solar project that has been executed and commissioned in just over three months from the signing of the PPA. As stated, the use of solar power is expected to deliver indicative energy cost savings of nearly 50% compared with conventional grid electricity. The transition is also expected to offset around 4,500 tons of CO₂ emissions annually, amounting to more than 1.13 lakh tons over the project’s lifetime. This supply arrangement represents Sunsure Energy’s first renewable power delivery to a hospital facility and forms part of its ongoing operational expansion in Uttar Pradesh. Recently, Sunsure Energy and Bisleri International have signed a long-term solar PPA supplying 48% of Bisleri’s Sahibabad demand from an 82.5 MW plant.
