Sun Drops Energia, a KPI Green Energy subsidiary, has secured a 100 MW solar project in Gujarat from Avichal Power. This is the second consecutive order from the client. The project is scheduled for phased delivery by FY27. Sun Drops Energia is responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and operations and maintenance. The company will supply module mounting structures, balance-of-plant materials, and carry out civil, structural, and electrical works. The deal is with a domestic entity and involves no related party transactions. Following the announcement, KPI Green Energy’s share price rose 1.54 per cent. The company has also reported over two-fold growth in Q4 FY25 net profit to INR 104.18 crore (~$ 12.15 million), supported by higher revenue.Earlier this year, KPI Green Energy had also awarded a 100 MW solar project in Gujarat to Sun Drops Energia, reflecting the company’s steady project pipeline in the region.
