Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL), an India-based EPC solutions provider, has announced an order worth INR 415 crore (~$47.05 million) to develop a solar power project in Rajasthan. The company said it has received a letter of intent from a private independent power producer for a balance-of-system EPC package. The project includes a 300 MW AC/420 MW DC solar PV plant and a 220/33 kV pooling substation. The contract value covers engineering, procurement, construction, operations, maintenance, and taxes. According to SWREL, its gross order inflows for 2025 have already exceeded INR 2,400 crore (~$272.14 million). The company has a global portfolio of more than 22.8 GW, covering projects commissioned and under construction, and it also manages an operations and maintenance portfolio of 9.3 GW.Earlier this year, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy had won a 245 MW solar EPC bid in Gujarat, further strengthening its project portfolio across India.
