Stäubli, global industrial and mechatronic solution provider, has announced a $10 million expansion of its manufacturing facility in Bangalore to support solar PV connector production. The facility houses automated assembly lines and quality systems for MC4-Evo1 and MC4-Evo2 connectors. The expansion supports domestic demand and global supply requirements. The site enables higher output, shorter lead times, and improved supply chain reliability. The facility integrates automated and energy-efficient processes and operates as a zero-discharge unit. The expansion supports local engineering, product development and vendor development. Production at the expanded facility commences in January 2026.This development follows Stäubli partnering with Create Energy to launch a next-generation PV DC connector for tracker systems, combining product design with US manufacturing.
