RMC Switchgears Limited, an India-based electrical infrastructure solutions provider, has commissioned 8.8 MW AC of MAHAGENCO’s 46 MW AC solar EPC project at Shevgaon, Maharashtra. This commissioned portion represents INR 38.49 crore (~$4.2 million) of the total INR 153.98 crore ($16.9 million) turnkey contract value. The remaining capacity is progressing as per plan, and the company has stated it expects to complete the entire 46 MW AC within the current financial year. RMC commissioned the 8.8 MW AC segment using crystalline PV modules and MAHAGENCO-compliant electrical infrastructure. Onsite implementation involved land preperation, mechanical erection, electrical works, and synchronization. Earlier this year, RMC Switchgears has secured an INR 320 crore solar contract in Rajasthan.
