RMC Switchgears, an India-based electrical solutions provider, has secured an INR 320 crore (~$ 38.4 million) contract from the Rajasthan Government to install 50 MW of rooftop solar systems. The project will be implemented in Jaipur and Dausa under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) to ensure long-term financial stability. RMC Switchgears has stated that it will oversee design, supply, erection, and commissioning, along with operations and maintenance for 25 years. The contract includes INR 229 crore (~$ 27.5 million) for project execution and INR 91 crore (~$ 10.9 million) in recurring O&M revenue over its duration. The initiative is part of the Rajasthan Government’s efforts to transition government buildings to solar energy.
