NTPC RE brings 150 MW solar online in Gujarat

NTPC Green Energy confirmed NTPC Renewable Energy’s 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV project became fully operational, with a 10.98 GW pipeline including 593 MW commissioned.

India-headquartered NTPC Green Energy has announced that NTPC Renewable Energy’s 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV project became fully operational. The first 60 MW commercial operations began on July 29, 2024. The second 30 MW began on December 11, 2024. Gujarat Energy Development Agency certified the final 60 MW as operational on April 16, 2025. NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. has a pipeline of 10.98 GW, including 593 MW commissioned and 7,653 MW under execution. NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. also recently won a 300 MW solar project in NHPC’s auction.
