NTPC Green Energy Limited, an India-based renewable energy generation company, has declared commercial operation of 14.43 MW at the Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat. The declared capacity represents the eleventh part capacity out of the project’s total planned capacity of 1255 MW. According to the disclosure, the capacity has been commissioned under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III through NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. Commercial operation has taken effect from 00:00 hours on 10 February 2026. Following this declaration, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has increased to 8827.68 MW, while the group’s commercial capacity stands at 8813.25 MW. The filing further states that, at the NTPC Group level, total installed capacity will reach 87,804 MW and total commercial capacity will reach 86,724 MW. Recently, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited began supplying 130.47 MW from the Khavda-I solar project in Gujarat.
