NTPC Group, India's Power generation Company, has begun commercial operations of 193 MW at its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan. The capacity came from plot-3 of the 3x245 MW project. With this addition, NTPC’s total commercial capacity reached 80.7 GW at the group level and 59.60 GW on a standalone basis, as per an exchange filing. NTPC is also expanding its renewable energy portfolio, with projects such as the Khavda Solar PV Project contributing an additional 110.25 MW. NTPC also reached 80.265 GW group capacity as its Khavda solar unit began power supply in Gujarat alongside the Nokh project.
