India-based NTPC Group’s total installed capacity has reached 80.265 GW following the commissioning of 110.25 MW from the Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat. The newly operational segment is part of the larger 1.255 GW project developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy. The capacity was declared commercially operational from 00:00 hours on June 6, 2025, according to NTPC’s regulatory filing. Located in the Kutch region, the Khavda project is among India’s largest solar developments. The project is also part of NTPC’s plan to add over 60 GW renewable capacity by 2032.
