National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), has planned for setting up a 110 MW captive solar power project in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This facility is designed to meet the power requirement of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor.  The facility is likely to be completed within a span of 24 months. This project has been awarded to NLC India Limited and will help meet approximately 60% of the power demand for the Namo Bharat corridor. The solar power project will also help connect the power requirement of the solar plant to the Uttar Pradesh power grid and power the receiving substations in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The project also supports the National Solar Mission. Recently, NLC India Limited,has received a Letter of Acceptance from National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited(NCRTCL) for this project.
