The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) and SolarPower Europe has signed an agreement to explore business and financing options in solar manufacturing. The goal was to strengthen cooperation between the EU and India in building stable and diverse solar supply chains. The partnership combined Europe’s expertise in performance and technical support with India’s growing solar manufacturing capacity. The MoU included efforts to address regulatory issues and engage policymakers for improved market access. It followed the launch of SolarPower Europe’s International Solar Manufacturing Initiative to promote joint opportunities in upstream solar segments.
