Monte Carlo Fashions Limited (MCFL), an India-based apparel manufacturing company, has recently received multiple Letters of Award from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd for grid-connected PV power projects. MCFL has stated that the scale of the projects, regulatory requirements, and the need for focused execution led to the decision to form a dedicated subsidiary. The MCFL board has approved the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary, MCFL Energy Projects Private Limited, on January 16, 2026. The subsidiary will be responsible for solar power generation and related project activities. The awarded PV power projects have an aggregate capacity of 35 MW (AC) and will be developed under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme PM KUSUM-C in Madhya Pradesh.
