India-based apparel firm Monte Carlo Fashions Limited, has secured multiple Letters of Award from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. Monte Carlo Fashions Limited is venturing into solar projects recently. These awards encompass 35 MW AC capacity for grid-connected PV power plants under the PM KUSUM-C Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme in one district. The generated power will be sold through a tariff-based PPA that lasts for 25 years from the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date. The construction phase spans 18 months before the project enters a 25-year operational period thereafter. The EPC contract carries a value of Rs. 147.00 crores (~ $16.2 million), including GST, with no promoter interests tied to the awarding entity.
