KPI Green Energy, a Gujarat-headquartered renewable power developer, has announced that it secured a Rs 489 crore (~ $58.9 million) order from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited. According to KPI Green Energy, the award is for engineering, procurement and construction of a 142 MW floating solar project at the Kadana Dam reservoir in Mahisagar district. KPI Green Energy said that the project is planned with 142 MW DC and 110 MW AC configurations to meet site requirements. The company has confirmed that construction activities are scheduled across an 18-month execution window. KPI Green Energy noted that the order value was finalised at Rs 489.17 crore (~ $58.9 million) after technical and commercial evaluations.  Recntly KPI GreenEnergy has announced contract agreements with SJVN for a 200 MW solar project in Khavda.
