India based KPI Green Energy, part of KP Group, has announced that its 92.15 MW IPP hybrid power project has commenced power generation and supply to the state grid. The project was awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a bidding process. The project has an aggregate contracted capacity of 92.15 MW, comprising 16.95 MW of wind power and 75.2 MW of solar power. Grid synchronization has been achieved and power injection into the grid has started ahead of the scheduled July 2026 completion timeline. Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam serves as the offtaker under a long-term power purchase agreement. With generation underway and the project is expected to begin contributing to company revenues on a sustained basis. Prior to this development, KPI Green Energy Gujarat had received grid approval for 32.40 MW captive solar projects, further expanding its operational portfolio within the state.
