KPI Green Energy, a Surat-based solar power producer, has announced receiving charging approval for 32.40 MW solar and hybrid projects. According to KPI Green Energy, the approval has allowed the projects to connect to the main electricity grid. The company said that these assets were developed for clients of its subsidiary under the captive power producer business. KPI Green Energy has clarified that the charging or energization approval is a mandatory regulatory step. It is required after technical parameters, safety checks, and grid compliance conditions are met. As per KPI Green Energy, the approval was issued in the names of the respective captive clients. The company added that the grid connection has enabled regulated energization and subsequent power evacuation. KPI Green Energy has continued executing captive solar and hybrid projects supporting industrial power demand.
