Juniper Green Energy’s subsidiary, Juniper Green Cosmic, signed a power purchase agreement with NHPC on June 28, 2025. The agreement is for the development of a 250 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The project will combine solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems to supply electricity to the Haryana Power Purchase Centre for distribution to state utilities. The agreement is valid for 25 years, with supply scheduled to begin in June 2027. In an earlier agreement in December 2024, Juniper Green Light Ten Private Ltd signed a 200 MW FDRE deal with NHPC for power supply to Uttar Pradesh. Juniper Green Energy was the second-largest bidder in FDRE and wind-solar hybrid tenders between April 2021 and December 2024. Juniper has recently completed 217 MW PV project in Maharastra.
