Delhi-based Juniper Green Energy has completed its 217 MW solar project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra. The final 71 MW, added in June 2025, brought project completion 18 months ahead of schedule. The plant was built in two parts—145.99 MW came online on 22 May, and 71 MW on 23 June. Power is supplied to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company through its subsidiary Juniper Green Ray Two Private Limited. The full capacity was achieved within four months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement. Juniper Green Energy is focused on utility-scale solar and wind projects. Its total operational capacity has reached approximately 1.45 GW across India.
