JMK Research & Analytics, an India-based energy research firm, has released its December 2025 update tracking solar manufacturing expansions and supply orders across India. Waaree Energies has expanded solar module manufacturing capacity by 1.5 GW at its Samakhiali facility, while Emmvee has commissioned a 2.5 GW module manufacturing line in Karnataka. ReNew Photovoltaics has announced an investment of INR 3,990 crore (~ $439 million) to establish a 6 GW integrated solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility under the PLI scheme in Anakapalli. AMPIN Energy Transition has outlined investments exceeding INR 1,000 crore (~ $110 million) for solar cell and module manufacturing infrastructure in West Bengal. Hexatron has announced an INR 1,700 crore (~ $187 million) investment for a solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. On the order side, Insolation Energy’s subsidiary has secured solar module supply orders worth INR 516.05 crore (~ $56.8 million), while Onix Solar Energy has received an INR 1.48 billion (~ $16.3 million) order for 620 Wp TOPCon solar modules.
