A report by JMK Research & Analytics Private Limited, a cleantech research firm in India, has stated the state-wise capacity addition of PV in November 2025. It was found that Maharashtra led in the addition of utility-scale PV systems with a cumulative installation of around 801.8 MW in November 2025. This position was followed by 526.25 MW of utility-scale PV systems in Rajasthan, along with 509.43 MW in Gujarat. Additionally, Maharashtra led in the addition of rooftop solar systems with a cumulative installation of 193.4 MW in the same period. This was followed by 129.7 MW in Gujarat, along with 58 MW in Kerala. The cumulative off-grid solar systems installed stood at 92.8 MW in the whole of India, including 35.6 MW in Maharashtra and 30.51 MW in Haryana. In the same report, JMK Research stated that renewable electricity generation in India increased by 8.6% on a month-over-month basis in December 2025.
