JMK Research & Analytics Private Limited, a research and consulting firm based in India, has recorded an increase in renewables production in December 2025. Renewable energy production in December 2025 contributed to the production of 18,134 MUs, thereby registering a growth of about 8.6%, up from the production in the last month of November 2025. According to a report by JMK Research, solar power production registered a growth of 9.4%, compared to production in the previous month of December this year. Wind power registered a relatively lower growth of about 6.3%, over the same period. According to data by JMK Research, installed solar power capacity addition between January and November 2025 stood at about 33,981 MW, while wind power capacity addition over the same period stood at about 5,821 MW. Installed solar and wind capacity addition simultaneously stood at 3,310 MW in November 2025, according to JMK Research. In the report, JMK also reported about global and domestic module prices.

According to JMK Research, solar generation across India increased in December 2025, contributing to an 8.6% month-on-month rise in renewable electricity generation.
