Hindustan Power won 425 MW PV project from UPPCL in Uttar Pradesh

India-based Hindustan Power secured a 425 MW solar project from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) through auction, with a 25-year PPA.

India-headquartered Hindustan Power, an independent power producer has secured a 425 MW solar project from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). The Letter of Award was issued after a competitive e-reverse auction. UPPCL agreed to procure power at a fixed tariff for 25 years under the power purchase agreement. The project was expected to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of signing the agreement. Hindustan Power planned to build a 5 GW renewable energy portfolio by 2028. Recently, Hindusthan Power allocates INR 620 crores for Assam PV & BESS projects.
