Ceigall India Limited, an India-based infrastructure development company has emerged as the L1 bidder in the financial bid conducted by Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd for 130 MW AC PV power plants. These grid-connected projects, under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme – PM KUSUM-C, will span two districts in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The execution of the work requires completion within 18 months, followed by 25 years of operations. A 25-year PPA accompanies the contract, commencing from the scheduled commercial operation date. The EPC contract carries an approximate value of INR 550.00 crore ($61.10 million), including GST, and is designated as a domestic order. In its disclosure, Ceigall stated that no interest exists from the promoter group and confirmed that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party one. MPUVNL has yet to issue the formal Letter of Award to the company. Recently, Ceigall India has received an LOA from MSEDCL for 190 MW solar projects in Maharashtra.
