Ceigall India Limited, an India-based infrastructure developer, convened its Management Committee, which approved incorporation of Ceigall Green Energy MP Limited. The wholly owned subsidiary was approved with a subscription of INR 1,00,000 (~ $1,100) to develop 130 MW (AC) PV power plants. The solar projects will be implemented across two districts in Madhya Pradesh under the PM KUSUM-C scheme. The SPV will develop grid-connected photovoltaic generating stations for Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders. These projects follow multiple awards received from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd on December 23, 2025. The committee also approved acquisition of 100 percent equity in Velgaon Power Transmission Limited. The acquisition involves INR 5,00,000 (~ $5,500) for 50,000 equity shares priced at Rs. 10 each. Velgaon Power Transmission Limited is responsible for the 400/220 kV Velgaon Substation awarded through REC’s tariff-based competitive bidding process. Recently, Ceigall India Limited has emerged as the L1 bidder for 130 MW AC PV projects under the PM KUSUM-C feeder solarisation scheme in Madhya Pradesh.
