Ciel & Terre Taiwan and HEXA Renewables complete major near-shore floating solar project in Taiwan 

Ciel & Terre Taiwan, in collaboration with HEXA Renewables, has completed the expansion of the Changbin Industrial Park’s near-shore floating solar project, adding 440 MWp to the existing capacity. The Changbin #3 and #4 projects, totaling 192.3 MWp, commenced construction in October 2022 and achieved their first Commercial Operation Date (COD) in October 2023. With Ciel & Terre Taiwan contributing 280 MWp, the entire floating solar project spans 171 hectares, generating around 260 GWh of electricity annually. The installation features the Hydrelio platform and the New Pillar Anchoring Solution, developed to ensure stability amidst tidal changes and storms.
