On December 31, 2024, Ningxia Huasun New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. produced its first monocrystalline silicon rod. This was achieved at its 20 GW HJT Monocrystalline Silicon Smart Factory (Phase 1). This marked the completion of Huasun’s integrated HJT solar industry chain. This includes silicon ingot, wafer, HJT cell, and module production. Established in July 2024, the company completed construction, installation, and production start within six months. It also developed rod-pulling technology to scale up HJT mass production. The company plans to advance HJT and perovskite tandem technologies. It aims to support the global photovoltaic industry.
