China’s Huasun Energy secured a 1 GW contract for n-type heterojunction (HJT) solar module procurement for Power Construction Corporation of China’s (Power China) offshore solar project in Qingdao, China. The project will take place in the marine area of Aoshan Bay, which presents demanding environmental conditions. Huasun’s G12-132 V-Ocean HJT solar modules, certified for offshore use, provide a 720W power output and incorporate features for water and corrosion resistance, including butyl adhesive and UV protection. This contract reinforces Huasun’s role in offshore photovoltaic (PV) technology and its position in China’s large-scale solar market. The company plans to maintain product quality and ensure timely project delivery while continuing research in HJT technology to contribute to clean energy objectives and support net-zero targets.
