US-basedsolar module manufacturer Heliene Inc.has sold $50 million worth of Section 45X Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credits, facilitated by Basis Climate. The proceeds will be used to reduce debt and fund Heliene’s expansion of solar manufacturing facilities, including a new factory set to open in Minnesota in May 2025. This sale is part of Heliene’s ongoing efforts to enhance its domestic manufacturing presence and reinforce the US solar supply chain.The company has partnered with Suniva, Norsun, and Premier Energies to support US-made solar components and technology.
