China-based Hanersun announced that its Hitouch 5N and 6N modules met the latest standards from the Australian Clean Energy Council (CEC). The modules are now on the CEC’s approved product list. As of October 1, 2024, the CEC mandates that listed modules meet the strict IEC61215:2021 and IEC61730:2023 standards. These tests cover areas like electrical design and durability in various conditions. Hanersun claims its modules use advanced n-type cells, multi-busbar designs, and high-density encapsulation. This setup boosts both cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency to meet Australia’s quality demands. Australia, a key market where solar installations have reached 34.7 GW as of the end of 2023, with annual additions exceeding 5 GW. Hanersun has opened a branch in Melbourne to help meet the rising demand for efficient solar products.
