GoodWe has launched the GR-A1F-20 and GR-B1F-20 Rapid Shutdown Receivers as part of the RSD 2.0 solution for PV systems. These offer module-level rapid shutdown capability for enhanced fire safety in solar rooftops and buildings. The receivers, featuring an operating voltage range of 8 to 80 V per channel and a rated input current of 22 A, can connect with one or two modules. The device ensures normal module operation through a PLC keep-alive signal from a transmitter integrated into GoodWe's inverters or an external transmitter. During emergencies, the rapid shutdown is activated when the signal is lost. Additionally, a manual shutdown option is available using the external RSD initiator.
