China-based GoodWe has completed a 30 kW solar project on a six-floor residential apartment building in Gold Coast, Queensland, utilizing its Galaxy solar panels. This project has employed an innovative gluing installation technique, avoiding roof drilling by using ventilation tubes to create a gap between the roof and panels. This method preserved the roof membrane, reduced leakage risks, and halved installation time compared to traditional approaches, says GoodWe. Once operational, the solar system will power the building’s swimming pool and communal areas, cutting energy expenses and achieving a payback period of just two years. Galaxy panels are lightweight, frameless, and resistant to dust and severe weather, ensuring durability and efficiency.
