Goldi Solar plans major PV manufacturing expansion in India

Goldi Solar, a Gujarat-based solar module maker, plans to expand its current capacity of 3 GW to 14 GW by mid-FY26. As per the company, this fourfold increase will be accompanied by a 4 GW cell manufacturing capacity addition by FY27, aiming to reduce imports. To facilitate this growth, Goldi Solar is planning to hire 4,000 employees. The company currently operates two advanced manufacturing plants in Gujarat with a combined 3 GW capacity and the module capacity expansion will take place at its new Kosamba facility. In FY24, Goldi Solar reported revenues of INR 1,750 crore, with an order book of INR 5,350 crore.
