India-headquartered Gensol Engineering secured an INR 780 crore (~$92.75 million) contract for a 150 MW (AC) solar PV project in Maharashtra. The contract involves the manufacturing, supply, inspection, installation, and commissioning of a grid-connected ground-mounted solar power plant. It also includes developing power evacuation infrastructure to connect the plant to the state transmission utility (STU) substation and three years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services, covering the plant’s switchyard and transmission infrastructure. Following the announcement, Gensol Engineering’s shares rose nearly 5% to INR 860.
