Gensol and NTPC REL secured 225 MW PV project in India

India’s Gensol Engineering secured an INR 897 crore (~$104.92 million) contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) to develop 225 MW (AC) (276 MW DC) grid-connected solar projects at the GSECL Solar Park (Stage-III) in Khavda, Gujarat. The project, awarded on an EPC basis, includes operations and maintenance for three years. The contract was finalized last week, with the total bid value covering taxes and duties.
