Primergy Solar and Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners have announced the full operational status of the Gemini Solar + Storage project in Nevada. This landmark project, the largest of its kind in the US, features 1.8 million solar panels generating 690 MW, supported by 380 MW of battery storage providing 1,400 MWh of power. Designed with a DC-coupled storage configuration, Gemini supports 10% of Nevada’s peak power demand. The project emphasized environmental stewardship, minimized land footprint, and boosted Nevada’s economy with 1,300 jobs and a $463 million contribution.
