GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd., a leading renewable energy solution provider, is debuting SiRo, its latest innovation in the PV sector, at Intersolar Europe. According to the company, SiRo integrates the world’s first carbon-tracing mechanism via the GCL Carbon Data Platform, leveraging blockchain for transparency. The platform tracks carbon emissions from polysilicon production to PV module assembly, ensuring compliance with national standards. Each SiRo module features a QR code revealing specific carbon emissions, protected by blockchain technology, in preparation for the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) rules. GCL SI is also introducing its latest perovskite modules, which have set new efficiency records at 19.04% and 26.36% and showcasing five N-type high-efficiency modules with up to 720 Wp power output. Additionally, the company has signed a cooperation agreement with EcoTree to collaborate on strategic planning and biodiversity conservation.
