Gautam Solar to invest INR 1,000 crore in 2 GW PV facility

New Delhi, India-based Gautam Solar has announced an expansion into PV cell manufacturing with plans to invest INR 1,000 crore in a new 2 GW facility. This facility will produce domestic content requirement (DCR) compliant solar cells, which are crucial for government-supported projects that demand locally-manufactured components. With this move, the company positions itself as an alternative to Chinese manufacturers.
