India head-quartered Gautam Solar plans to raise INR1,000 crore through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) within the next 12 to 18 months to fund its 2 GW solar cell manufacturing project. This initiative is to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity to 5 GW by 2025. With India targeting 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030, Gautam Solar aims to contribute significantly by accounting for nearly 5-7% of the country’s solar energy capacity.
