Ganymede Utilities, LLC has secured the lead role in developing the ALP-Solar farm, a 280 MW solar project in Bakersfield, California. This initiative marks the inaugural phase of Aramco Holdings’ power generation station aimed at internal operations. Acting as the EPC contractor, Ganymede will oversee design, procurement, and construction, with Aecom providing engineering services and Energy America supplying key modules. The solar farm is projected to power over 70,000 homes. The project is divided into four phases, with Ganymede spearheading the first phase, set to commence construction shortly and expected to be completed within two years.
