Founder Energy secures $5.5M solar contracts in Malaysia

Malaysia-based Founder Group Limited, a specialized provider of end-to-end EPCC solutions for PV systems, has announced new Letters of Award (LOAs) for large-scale solar projects. As per Founder Energy, these LOAs worth approximately $5.5 million and cover comprehensive EPCC services, including DC and AC electrical systems, Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems, and civil works. Projects awarded include the Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP) and utility-scale solar initiatives, showcasing Founder Energy’s capability to manage diverse solar requirements. Malaysia’s solar EPCC market is expected to reach around $350 million by 2026, growing at a 23.5% CAGR, driven by renewable energy goals. The government aims for a 20% renewable mix by 2025, supported by incentives such as the Green Technology Financing Scheme and the newly introduced Solar for Rakyat Incentive Scheme (SolaRIS).
