Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has launched its first hybrid PV-Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Dalby, Queensland. The project includes a 2.45 MWdc PV installation and a 2.54 MW/5 MWh battery storage system, co-located and connected to the same grid point. This hybrid system supplies over 1,680 households and reduces annual CO2 emissions by 3,553 tonnes. The project spans 30 hectares and marks a significant advancement in energy efficiency and grid resilience.
