Ferrovial, a leading infrastructure operator, has announced plans to construct two new PV plants in Matalebreras, Soria (Spain) for Aquila Clean Energy. The plants, named Trevago I and Trevago II, are set to supply electricity to approximately 30,000 homes. With a combined capacity of 62 MW, these facilities will collectively generate 114 GWh/year of clean energy. Notably, the solar project is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions by an impressive 29,700 tons annually. In addition to constructing the plants, Ferrovial will also install crucial power lines to connect them to the local substation. The project, slated for completion in 2025, is expected to create nearly 150 job opportunities in the region.
